12 students in Overseas Education College and International College won scholarships during the foundation anniversary of Xiamen university celebration in 2013

On April 6th, 2013, Xiamen University 92nd foundation anniversary celebration was held ceremoniously at Jiannan auditorium. JORDAN SPENCER BASS( 2nd on the left), a American students in our college, to be representative of all the overseas students, received overseas student scholarship during the foundation anniversary of Xiamen university celebration in 2013.

Xiamen University overseas student scholarship is set up for full time overseas undergraduate, master’s degree and doctorate degree students in Xiamen University. The scholarship selection is held during university anniversary celebration every year, scholarship students are required to be well behaved and excellent and take active part in all competitions and activities inside the university and society.

Li Xiang is not only hardworking and outstanding in his study, but also takes active part in many competitions and activities inside the university and society. He made great success in singing contest, martial art competition and recital contest. Li Xiang is very good at martial art, he once gave Tai Chi boxing performance in many evening party, including the “Chinese Style” programme show on 92th foundation anniversary celebration of Xiamen University held this time. It’s worth mentioning that he once entered Top 15 and became honorable mention winner in 5th CCTV “Chinese Bridge” International Students Chinese Language Competition co-hosted by CCTV and China Hanban/Headquarter of Confucius Institute.
