President of Tajik Pedagogic Institute visited our college

On the afternoon of March 12th, Mr. Ansorov Muazzam, president of Tajik Pedagogic Institute visited Overseas Education College of Xiamen University. President Zheng Tongtao, vice president Lu Zixuan and Jiang Yuta, teacher from Overseas Students Admission Office received the guests. Mr. Ansorov Muazzam came to Xiamen University to take part in Confucius Institute at southern base’ foreign presidents and officers training, and took this opportunity to visit our school and discuss cooperation matters. Mr. Ansorov Muazzam appreciates beautiful campus of Xiamen University very much, and likes the teachers and students there; he planned to send their school students to study Chinese language, archaeology, tourism management and other programs in Xiamen University. President Zheng expressed hearted welcome to Ansorov Muazzam and told guests the news that Overseas Education College will move to new campus, Xiangan campus this September, and Zheng introduced scale of the new campus and classrooms, accommodations, canteens and so on complete facilities and encourages students in Tajikistan to study in our college through scholarship and mutual cooperation.  

Tajik Pedagogic Institute was founded in July 6th, 1991 as teaching center of Russia University in Asia; it became Tadzhik University’s teaching institute in Oct. 4th, 1994. On June 22nd, 2007, this in      
Institute is renamed and became what it is now. Tajik Pedagogic Institute one of the country’s earliest non-governmental higher educational institutions. Since 1991, Tajik Pedagogic Institute has been carrying out the ministry of higher education of the country’s and international commonly used syllabus. The institute also takes in charge of education research. The institute has 176 teaching staffs in total, including professors, lectures and administrative staffs. There are 2,352 students of different nationalities, learning Tadzhik, Russian and English. Tajik Pedagogic Institute cultivated out more than 6,000 scholars and experts specialized in law, economics and education and so on. The institute has good hardware facilities; it is equipped with computer, modernized teaching facilities, and its own printing house.
